The New Avegene ePipette

Science has the pleasure of
launching the new Avegene ePipette
electronic pipettor family.
The ePipette is a new generation
of electronic pipettor from
Avegene. The range was designed
to meet most of the pipetting
applications for today¡¦s laboratories.
The ergonomic design of the
ePipette - suitable for both
left and right handed users
together with microprocessor-controlled
movement reduces the possibility
of human error and provides
reproducible results.

Now there are three single-channel models
available:
2¡V20 £gl, 20-200£gl and 200¡V1000 £gl. For
recharging, the ePipette pipettors feature
a direct charging system by the AC-adaptor.
Also a single place Charging Stand will
be available soon. |

ChemX is a high-end level bioimaging
system, with its versatility in Chemiluminescence,
Chemifluorescence, Fluorescence and
Colorimetric imaging. Like ChemLite,
it equips a high quantum efficiency
cooled CCD camera, large-diaphragm high
performance lens set and a smart light-tight
cabinet with MFP (movable focus Platform),
producing the optimized results bioimage
capture and analysis. Besides, ChemX
provides Red / Green / Blue / White
illumination modules, enabling a broad
coverage of bio-image acquisition and
analysis.
Avegene proprietary MIRA and D-Max technology
contribute high sensitivity and dynamic
range to ChemX. Built-in 7¡¨ TFT LCD
makes an easier handling of object positioning
and focus. Four-position movable focus
platform (MFP) offers different FOV
(field of view) selections that can
suit your needs in image of different
sizes of gels, membranes or microplate.
Easy Access Guider makes users to get
the optimized optics setting (Lens,
Filter and illumination) by one click.

In laboratories, you will find more
and more automated instruments you need
but less and less the space you have.
In the past, most of instruments were
operated under PC-controlled platform,
i.e. you have to reserve a space beside
the instrument for another PC set (personal
computer). People always turn on the
PC, waiting until the operating system
is ready then starting to work! Not
only wasting spaces, but also you have
to spend minimum a couple of minutes
to wait after you push the "start"
button. Imagine that you have to wait
Windows starting-ups for more than 3
minutes and then enjoy your movie when
you want to use a DVD player. No people
are willing to do so. Now, much more
people prefer to have a compact and
PC-free machine alone with user-friendly,
intuitive interface.
Avegene's LIAS is one of the best examples.
LIAS is designed in standalone. All
functions can be set by touch pad and
you're able to view all the info on
7" TFT Large LCD panel in real
time. There are short-cut buttons for
most frequently-use functions, including
exposure time settings, light source
selections, filter-set-selections, image
capturing as well as direct printing.
LIAS also allows its users having a
PC control option to handle some complicated
experiments as well.
